I spend a few moments to tweak preferences, searching for any differences between this and my prior operating system.

I examine my surroundings. First thing I notice are richer textures and much faster load times than the last time I was here, back when I was accessing SL on a much older, slower system.

Wow, this is going to be a whole new world for me...
